Has anyone tried this? It looks cool and I've simulated it on a DS emulator. Only you need a special expensive card to be able to run homebrew apps! It supports XM, MOD and some ITs and S3Ms.

Funny you post this today. I wrote an email to the author this afternoon before I read this.

I had a play with it on a friend's DS. It's OK - good for roughing out ideas. I found the interface somewhat clunky and unintuitive in places (I couldn't figure out how to load sample, for instance, only record one using the mic). If you want to sketch out track ideas, or work on simple tracks on the go, it's ok.

The mail I wrote to the author was concerning opening up a set of official NT forums here (like Milky has) as there seems to be no way for an NT fanbase to connect at the moment. No reply as of yet.

* NT= NitroTracker.

I've tried it out and it's great!!! You can also get a homebrew DS package for £30/$60 on amazon. It supports XMs only, but that's fine if you have a converter. Some songs do need some tempo tweakening, though.

this isn't me  :P

I love it.  i've been using it for a few months, before using Milky Tracker.  Wish it was as easy to use as LSDJ, but, it is still great.

I am writing it to my DS now.

Homebrew cards are not expensive and they are very easy to set up.
I will write my experiences with NT later.

Looked at it.
I had no problem understanding what's where and how to load stuff, but I think that the story of Nitro Tracker is only beginning. So far it does not support any effects, so I am not sure you can even write chip music with it.
I do wish for the author to continue his work.
