Title: PADsynth synthesis algorithm for generating high quality samples
Post by: paulnasca on May 25, 2008, 23:01:32
Hi to all.
Few years ago I made an sound synthesis algorithm which generates perfectly looped samples.
I posted this here, because I know that it can be suitable for MilkyTracker.
The description of the algorithm is at:
http://zynaddsubfx.sourceforge.net/doc/PADsynth/PADsynth.htm
The page, contains some audio demos, like this one (http://zynaddsubfx.sourceforge.net/doc/PADsynth/demos/0km.ogg).
On the same page, there are some ready-for-use public domain C/C++ code, which, I believe, can be easily integrated in MilkyTracker.

This algorithm has been implemented into my opensource software synthesizer, ZynAddSubFX (http://zynaddsubfx.sourceforge.net) and other synthesizers.
Hope you'll enjoy it :)

Paul
