Title: Hello, I'm new.... and confused.....

Hello everyone, recently I found out all about Nitrotracker.  I've never been interested in homebrew apps before it, but after discovering it, I'm dying to work on it..... theres one problem, I have no experience with any sort of homebrew or R4 or anything and have no understanding of installation or terms used to describe the process.  On the webpage that tells you how to install, I got right up to the point where it says "Get DLDI patching software for your operating system from here" and got confused.  I'm using an R4 DS and have a mac, I don't know if when it says 'operating system' if its refering to my comp, or the kind of card I'm using.  if someone could help with the whole installation thing it would be much appreciated.  Thanks in advance.

The dldi patching refers to the os of the card. In this case the r4.

I've found dldi drop to work well on osx.

Just drop the .nds file in and it will give you a prompt to choose your card. After that just chuck the file on the r4.

lol. you are exactly like me. I saw nitrotracker, bought an r4, got confused and then found dldi drop for mac!

Hi I am having a similar problem but I am using windws vista. I have downloaded DLDIrc for the R4 Revolution card that I have. I have downloaded Nitrotracker. I have put all onto my card and then right click the nitrotracker folder letting me parch it. It brings up the window and says that the patching was successful. I then out the card into the DS and it brings up the message 'COULDNT FIND_DS_MENU.DAT'

Can anyone help me here, very confused!

ttptp, is it an R4 you have ?
DLDI patching is not necessary with R4 linkers. I've never patched NT, and it works perfectly.
