The UK's premier demoscene party is back for 2008 and is due to take place from the 12th-14th September at the same location; the Budleigh Salterton Town Hall. Based in the peaceful seaside town of Budleigh Salterton, part of Devon on the South-West coast of the UK, Sundown returns for the fourth time to celebrate the demoscene culture and provides 72 hours of non-stop demoparty action.
This year sees our continuing trend of year on year improvements in the form of:
* MASSIVE Big Screen and superb clarity projection courtesy of Stage Electrics
* Highly improved, non flammable quality soundsystem
* Another Free-for-all projection screen for scener use
* Competitions in conjunction with the mighty Bitfellas
* OPEN Competitions for remote participation in many categories
* Space for up to 100 people
* Drinking is FULLY permitted but you cannot buy drink from us unless we give it away (which does happen!)
* Much more to be announced!

I'm flying to the UK to take part, some of you lot should look into going too if you want to experience demoparty! It's a good size party (not too big) so everyone gets to meet a reasonable number of people rather than be swamped by the population as often occurs at larger arena-sized ones.
