New Site Theme

The most dramatic new thing you have probably noticed on the main site is the addition of a new site theme, which was also part of a system code improvement to enable the images to also become theme-able. So now there are custom ratings icons, custom format icons and various other non-critical images for each theme.

If you were a fan of the old theme (or perhaps last year's Valentine pony love theme hehehe), do not worry - it's still there, just browse to the front page and locate the theme menu on the right hand side :-)

Other new features added/fixed:

- List own rejected uploads. It is now possible for members to have the global upload rejection list to list only their own rejected uploads. This is available in the upload area. However, it will not apply to modules uploaded prior to 25/11/2008.

- Multiple page navigation fixes. A couple of things have been fixed, regarding the navigation page jump box, (nobody actually reported this, I accidentally found out) - it didn't work on some types of pages, so now it does. An improvement has also been made in the form of a drop down menu listing of pages.

- Featured module improvement. When a module has been featured by the screening crew, the fact that it was featured and when is now shown on the module's information page.

- XML API extensions. I can't go into detail on this one, but suffice to say that as a result of maintenance on the XML backend of the site, some new applications will surface soon to take advantage of it in ways that have never been done before. All good stuff. Yay.

I hope you continue to enjoy the website :-)  It has never been so busy -  averaging over 13,000 unique visitors, pulling over 130,000 pages per month. Insane! If only I had a penny from each one I'd not need to constantly remind that The Mod Archive needs donations to keep it afloat! :-D Aaarghhh I know, I know...
