2008 Goal
Looks like the fund is gonna be short on the goal this year, but many many thanks to those who have donated, it helps incredibly (http://modarchive.org/forums/Themes/default/images/post/thumbup.gif)
Doesn't look like I'll be able to afford the next tier of server (faster, bigger, better) next year based on the costs vs income at the moment. I don't think you can expect any more performance improvements of the site, the increasing load (sheer number of visitors) is getting increasingly worrying. Still, we'll just have to brave it with what we've got. As usual, I cover any uncovered costs, the donations have cut that in half so far, so that's a good thing.
