Title: I eat nitrotracker for breakfast
Post by: moncrey on December 06, 2008, 03:22:45
Well, I only tried it once and I had to get surgery because of it... long story, but I will never try eating an electronic device again.

Seriously though, I love trackers. I started 2 years ago when I bought a Nintendo DS after discovering Nitrotracker online. Now I also use Renoise ( altough probably not to its full potential!).  Nitrotracker is a great way to learn tracking, I'm glad I got into it.

I love tracking with free / found samples, but I dont know where to go for synth samples a lot of the time. You know, like simple sine, square, saw, etc.

On that note, I'd die for a copy of lsdj!

ahem, so...

HELLO!

I signed up here because I dont know anyone into trackers, and I figured this is a good place to figure out what I do and dont know.

I'll share some xm files at some point... I upload music to virb.com/maxjackson. The nitrotracker songs are WASD (using demo song sounds), Ice Cream and Invisible Adventure (both all vocal sounds).  Deep In the Well is done on Renoise.

Hello and welcome. :)
For simple sine / square / saw samples, you could try my vChip Sound Generator (http://sagagames.de/download.php?file=vchip). :)

Sure, the nitrotracker songs on there are Invisible adventure, WASD, Ice Cream and Sock Bandit.

Deep in the well was made with Renoise (my favorite tracker) with plenty of VSTs and effects.
