hey,

the youtube video is from me.

You dont need GAPI on your Joranda720 for using Milkytracker, just copy these files to your Milkytracker directory and you can start  ;)

Apologies for the bump.
Any chance you could re-upload those files please dr_mabuse? Speedyshare doesn't seem to keep them up for long  :'(

Hi everyone... I've been trying to install this program on my J720. Have a latest GAPI installed. Downloaded aygshell.dll v14, 13, 4. Yes it started but in vertical orientation. with no right side of MilkyTracker on screen. When i made it horisontal the touchscreen doesn't work and J720 not responding at all.

How to make it work? What version of gx.dll and aygshell i have to put it MilkyTracker folder? May be something else...

Please help!

Ok. Not to worry. It's works in one configuration. Gx.dll (version 3), aygshell.dll (v4,13,15) and don't forget set different start-up resolution within milkytracker config (second tad).

Hello dr_mabuse,
You can re-upload the file but in other place, because one more they deleted because it's too old.

Thanks,

Thanks guys for sorting these files out, I know I asked earlier in the thread but I didn't manage to ever catch the files on the hosting site. I a LOVING milkytracker on my 720, it is so cool to have a playable keyboard and loads of shortcuts on a device that is so small..(and mine still gets about 7 1/2 hours of battery)..So thanks again.

I know this topic is a bit old... But could someone reupload this archive? I'm going to make a permanent link, so people can still have this great stuff without needing to ask every time the link goes offline :)

Thread resurrection!

Does anyone know if it would also be possible to run Milky on a NEC MobilePro 900?
http://www.hpcfactor.com/hardware/devices/specification.asp?d=134 (http://www.hpcfactor.com/hardware/devices/specification.asp?d=134)

It's very similar to the Jornada 720 (but seem to be going less on ebay, and also have a faster CPU)... so I figured it wouldn't be too much trouble to get it to run ... but I hate to buy one and then not be able to get it to work   :-\

Looks to me like it should work because of the ARM compatible CPU and Windows CE. Unfortunately I can't promise it will, though.

Yeah, I'm thinking there should be a way to get it to work. I've already decided to get one, because I know at least Sunvox works... And there is Linux, so maybe I can compile Chibi, Cheese, or Schism tracker for it if Milky doesn't work   :)     I'll post an update and screenshots here once I get something going on it    ;D

In that case you can probably add Linux-Milky to the list :)
