Title: combining 2 or more samples in one instrument
Post by: farvardin on January 08, 2009, 22:58:20
Hello,

I can't combine several samples together in the same instrument (to get a "bigger sound"), is it possible to do this with MilkyTracker, and if so, how?

In the instrument editor, I can only assign the current selected sample to the keyboard, but not several samples.

What you're trying to do isn't possible. Your options are either mixing the sounds on sample level or doubling your tracked channels and changing the instrument numbers for the copy (or if you've split the keyboard for multiple samples in the instrument editor, just transpose the notes to hit the correct samples).

You can also export your instrument to wav, one by one (out of a "dummy" song) and mix them in audacity among with real word (environmental or any kind) samples and but do not go really off range with them...stay in the field of one or half octave. it is tested and it is working :)

Track n trip!
