There is a module in the queue, jakub_husak_-_spadaj.mod, which is practically the same tune as shut your mouth (http://modarchive.org/index.php?request=view_by_moduleid&query=62471) by M.P. Productions. M.P. mentions that his tune "was a tribute to a very talented tracker" and that he made tune like him and that he spiced up the quality a bit. I'm not sure if this is a "tribute"...

As I see it, there's no credit to the original artist so it's very very dubious. Also, an ex. TiS1 person, interesting if they resurfac(ed?) on TiS2.

I'll leave the decision to commit this one to the HoS or not to you. Let me know your thoughts

'tis a difficult case, since it's labeled as a tribute, but not to whom it is a tribute. I have no clear opinion on it, but I rather tend towards "rip".

It's certainly a copy of the song but with higher quality samples and an additional 2 tracks. Really not a derivative work at all, and this guy used to be on Traxinspace? Sheesh...

In future, we could open up cases as poll, let the trials begin!.

No, seriously... I think this one I'll leave on-line for now, but still list it in the rips because both are fairly good tunes... What I don't like is that the M.P. Productions guy just doesn't mention the original artist at all.

Certainly the same rhythm. M.P. did upload on a much earlier date, but I wouldn't know who's the original tracker/composer.

whoops, I found the original in the Hall of Shame.
