Title: [solved] too much samples = nitrotracker crash?
Post by: pulselooper on June 12, 2009, 21:28:43
hi folks, first time here.
i´ve been a user of LSDJ for some time, and a couple of weeks ago I got myself a DS and started using nitrotracker. Everything was going fine, but today I took my afternoon to download some samples from freesound project. I used to have about 5mb of samples on my nitrotracker folder, but now I have 16 mb. The problem is: when I start nitrotracker, I can´t find my sample folders. Actually, the samples browser doesn´t show anything. But when I click on it with the stylues, the folders appear but nitrotracker freezes and I have to reset the DS.

Does anybody know what should be happening? Is it because 16mb is too much of samples for nitrotracker to handle?

thanks in advance and sorry about any english errors...

well, I found this post (http://modarchive.org/forums/index.php?topic=1507.0) and figured it out. I had changed one folder´s name, so it wasn´t working!

actually, I kept the folder name and just erased the .conf file on /data. When I restarted nitrotracker, it created a new .conf file and everything was beautiful again.

thanks a lot for Distortion for helping me out!
