Hadn't picked up Nitrotracker in forever, but once I did, I was trapped for hours.

It's been freezing in my area lately, so that's the inspiration. Chilled...

Do you manually tweak the xm to make the note stops work within another XM player, then translate to mp3, or what do you do?

Nah, dead simple: Record from the DS's audio hole into Audacity, crop, normalise, save, encode with LAME.
