Just stumbled across MilkyTracker a few days ago, fell in love with it, found forum, logged in. Got some questions, gonna ask them somewhere here

Needed to get access to the artist page.

hello; I make modules since 1987 even if I am still hopefully nobody. I have registered and uploaded stuff to this site before 2000...

Hello, as i was searching cool old musiks made on the amiga over the net, i discover that trackers have been transposed on pc. So, i will copy my modules from my amiga 1200 an post them here just to see if my music made in the 90's is up to date!!! ;D

The Internet was not invented in 1998. And IIRC there was not even a forum on ModArchive in 1998.

In one way or another, yes.
-
Internets!
-
Arpanet was invented, but internet is more the logical follow-up, I guess.
-
Wow great site i just picked up modplugtracker again after years and years, feels like i found an old friend
-
Yeah, modules = great invention in computer music production, imho.
-
I'm new to trackers and want to learn more about them and how to use them

Yep, I was on several newsgroups for a few years. But this was only after I stopped dialing up bulletin boards because I had discovered the Internet!
Geez, I'm starting to feel old...
:P

I'M going for a totally new concept with my band so I'm learning as much about trackers as possible.I play on getting and old system like amiga and uploading it on there for live stuff and make the studio stuff on my home studio
-
Well I joined just a minute ago because I am having writers block (trackers block?) and I just wanted to communicate with others that are into tracking. I have been learning ableton live and various other music tools but honestly nothing does it for me like tracking. tracking just feels right.
-
What if you have more than one reason? It has to do with helping myself and helping others too, not only one way.

I just joined today and judging from how long some people have been tracking, I need to do more homework on the subject. Anyway, I joined for the support and advice (and also because some Need For Madness players are on here somewhere, I've already seen Dragshot :)) Another reason is the inspiration, learning from other people's auditory creativeness and experience to make a great song out of an easy-to-use sound tracking program.

I began tracking late 2015, It's challenging but a lot of fun.
I joined this forum for tips - the "Sample Fixing and Tracking Tricks Tutorial" is a perfect example.
