I don't want to sound like to much of an ass (I'm nice, really), but is nitrotracker still being developed? It's been over a year since the 0.4 release... Any news, anything? please? I want my arpeggios :)
-
Actually there's been about a year and a half between v0.3 and v0.4.
And the latest news (http://modarchive.org/forums/index.php?topic=1415.msg9097#msg9097) are quite recent.
(Sorry, this is quite off-topic, but MatriM3's "stop note problem" has been fixed since v0.4.
Seems like he's working on projects he started with v0.3...
Edit: and just like in any other FT2-like tracker, the note cut doesn't work at all if the tempo is above 250 BPM.)

I sent 0xtob a beta request, and he said that due to his lack of time for the project, it's on hold.
It was released 13 months ago, Synthesis.

Thanks for the info Synth. I didn't know that bpm limitation, so thanks. And I know certain songs work with other trackers, I just didn't know why.

Yeah, things are progressing slowly lately. I'm quite busy since I just started my PhD which is fun but very challenging. Still, stuff is happening:
I'm working on a rewrite of TobKit at the moment and just released it as open source: http://code.google.com/p/tobkit (http://code.google.com/p/tobkit). Once this is done, I'll port NitroTracker to the new TobKit and then hopefully development will be much easier for me. NitroTracker will then become open source as well and I hope there will be a highly motivated team of coders who will help me take the project further.
In other news, NitroTracker was elected a Top-10 DS homebrew App in the r4ds poll: http://www.r4revolutionds.co.uk/world%E2%80%99s-top-10-nintendo-ds-homebrew-revealed-%E2%80%93-200-votes-500-won/ (http://www.r4revolutionds.co.uk/world%E2%80%99s-top-10-nintendo-ds-homebrew-revealed-%E2%80%93-200-votes-500-won/). Pretty cool!
So, keep rocking everyone, and be patient with me :-)

Well that's good to hear! I don't anything about coding, but I'd be more than willing to help beta test the code anytime as usual.
Congratz on the Top-10 vote, it's the only homebrew I use!
What PhD are you going for (if you don't mind me asking)?
-
I'm assuming this PhD is very time-consuming! ;)
