Title: Which Tracker to use on PC for XM import
Post by: side on October 29, 2009, 10:55:27
Hi
I wonder which tracker to use with XM modules pro perfect emulation in Windows. Renoise seems not to respect stop notes. Is there any tracker that has EXACTLY the same sound as NitroTracker?

Not that I know of, but I just use Milytracker and do some minimal editing to the stop-notes. All you hae to do is load up a small sample (say a waveform), then change the instrument's volume to "0" in the "Ins. Ed." window, then apply that instruments wherever you have stop-notes. It'll do the same thing and that way you can use it on other trackers.
