Title: Please remove my track
Post by: sanderg on October 31, 2009, 12:51:05
Hi there,

Today I was very surprised when I typed my own name in Google and saw this site coming up with some tracks of me, made when I was a child. I'm not sure how they get here. I may have published them back in the days to (this?) community or something simular.

Anyway, at first it was fun to hear the songs back because I allready forgot about them, but now I don't want to be associated with them anymore. Also because the mod text contains my full address and name.

Here are the links to the tracks:

Good thing this site did some search engine improvements, but I don't need free commerce for my tracks I made when I was 13 :)

Chears,

Sander

Please read the removal policy which outlines your possibilities. You agreed to the Terms when you initially uploaded them, and going by the age of these modules, you cannot go about trying to rewrite history. You will find the policy on the main site in the help area.

First of all I very much doubt that the terms were the same 12 years ago when I uploaded the file. And come on. I was 13 :).

I did read the removal policy and read there was a possibility to hide the song's text. Can you at least do that for me? It contains a full address and name.

Thanks,

Sander

The upload terms were the same as they were years ago with regards to the purpose of archiving and ensuring those that did upload uploaded in the knowledge that an archive isn't a hosting platform, but an archive.

Your info texts will be hidden, that we can do. How long it takes to update in search engines is anyone's guess.
