Heck, I felt like having a poll here. What's your tracking speciality? Generating flexible and nifty rhythms, handling samples, making interesting leads or some other skill?
I'd say my speciality is minimalism and composing under strange conditions. In a sense, I can make music with any sample under any condition. This is shown by all my (crazy) alternative music, like Fatal Error in -1, Guns of Counter-Strike and Veggie War (That one is lost somewhere. It was a groove song with recordings of cucumbers being slashed and banged on the bench, haha!).
Usually, I can compose music with anything that makes sounds and that I can handle. For example, I have done several PC Speakers beep loops with GWBASIC and composed on my cell phone's MIDI composer program.
I am also very good at making single-sample chiptunes. In fact, many of my better songs are single-sample chiptunes. I don't know why I got into it, it has just become a gimmic of mine, hehe.

I'm simply the best and most versatile tracker out there.
And my speciality is arrogancy.
[/sarcasm][/size]
..just to make sure you get it.
-
Oh man, I thought I was up there in arrogance, but clearly Ceekayed has humbled me. I guess I'll just concentrate on my ambient, atmospheric, chillout and synth stuff instead, and leave 'arrogancy' to the crimson king. ;)

Haha, you guys!

My cosmic beans
Do I have poke your cosmic jellybeans with my (very special) compo fingah to get you ontopic? :-|
edit:
Oh, I just noticed this topic is on offtopic.
Haha, the amount of pun in the last sentence is overwhelming. Darn I'm funny.

:!: Guys, this may be the off topic forum, it is meant for off topic threads, not taking peoples threads off topic.
On topic:
I don't feel I am special or particually good at anything, but if put on the spot If suppose my composing speciality would probably be... doing what I feel like doing and to hell with everyone else's opinion.
I should add at this poing that posting about "how good I am at this and that" in the context you have does come over as a little bit naive, and probably why you've got the the few, umm... off topic posts you've gotten.
-
I'm an Elwood wannabe. To make my point clear, print this page out and underline 'wannabe' 4 or 5 times. :P
But seriously, I do that techno-y type stuff and it turns out halfway decent I guess. :P

True dat. Seriously speaking, I hate "praising" myself and rather let the listeners decide where I'm good at, and what do I do right and what wrong - it's their opinion and they definetly don't need me to tell them their opinion about my music.
-
Naive or not, I am a proud and a happy "man" and I am not afraid to be myself and show it. :booty:
-
Tracking speciality? Hmm, not sure. Making interesting lead melodies I guess :D
-
I'd consider percussion and rhythm to be my strongest points. Most of my tunes are quite sparse and minimal from a musical standpoint - but the percussive elements are often quite intricate.
-
My speciality is Reggae. There isn't one single style that I have studied as much as Reggae. Origin, history, artists, fusion forms, common rhythms & phrases and the message behind the music.
My preference goes out to the One Drop Rhythm (bassdrum & rimclick at every 2nd and 4th count) because that, together with a catchy bassline, gives the music that lazy hookiness.
I think I'm good at rhythms and percussive feats since I'm a drummer, although you won't notice, because those songs aren't really suitable for TMA :) .
