Title: Can't get samples to load
Post by: TomalsMcWheat on September 09, 2010, 12:21:11
I've downloaded some samples from the Nitrotracker website, like the sons of 8-bit sample package, and can't see them in Nitrotracker. I extracted them to a folder on my micro-sd card called Samples, and I can see the folder in NT but I can't see the samples. Is it because they are .wav? Is there a good .wav to .xm converter that could fix this problem? :P

In the "Load & Save" tab, there are two checkboxes on the left. The "sng" (song-view) button will show the .xm files, and the "smp" (sample-view) button will show your .wav files.

The .wav format is used for sound files (ie. samples), the .xm format represents songs (samples + pattern data).

Edit: By the way, if you need some help for getting started, check out the documentation (http://nitrotracker.tobw.net/index.php?cat_id=4) on NitroTracker's website ;)
