Title: Now limited Generator Options?

I'm a new tracker.  You probably figured that out the moment you read the subject.

I've been following the tutorials crawling around YouTube and there's one inconsistency between the tutorials and the very latest version of MT:

In the sample editor, the tutorials tell me, once I've created a new sample, I have the option of automatically generating square, triangle, sawtooth, etc waves.  The latest version of MT's GENERATOR menu only gives me the option of generating NOISE.  To make sure I wasn't hallucinating, I re-installed an older version of MT and sure enough, all the options are there. 

Is this feature simply omitted from the latest version or is there a greater error at work?
