Title: Unable to create an account
Post by: YuGiOhJCJ on April 22, 2012, 12:38:11
Hi,

I try to create an account on modarchive.org but I failed.

I do this :
-go to http://modarchive.org/ with my browser
-click on Member Login > Create Account
-I enter a username, a password, a screen name and an email address
-I click on Create Account

Result : I am on the Welcome page and no email is sent to me.

How to create an account please?

Thank you.

Wow. Don't know what you have done but it works :
"Notification
Success! You have created a new account.
An activation e-mail has been sent to you with instructions on how to proceed."

Thank you a lot.

Hi!
I've got the same problem now. The database doesn't want my data... So I can't register... :(

Can't be the same problem, because that has been fixed, but it might be a different issue. What do you mean by "doesn't want my data"? Do you get a specific error message (which one)?

Which browser are you using? and do you have 'autofill' for forms enabled?

Your browser is probably filling in a hidden field which if it is full, will bounce you to the front page. The hidden field is a tripwire for spam bots.
