Title: Is it possible to convert a XM file into sheet music?

Hi, I am new on Mod Archive Forums so I hope I don't post this in the wrong section or something.

I have a song in XM format that I really like. I play the piano and would like to have sheet music of that song so I can play it on the piano. Is it possible to convert it somehow to sheet music?

You can try converting it to MIDI (using some tool like 2MIDI (http://www.un4seen.com/2midi.html)) and then open that MIDI file in some program that can output sheet music (lilypond is one of them, I believe). However, of course this will only work to certain degrees and it will e.g. not work with sampled chords, sampled melody phrases and similar things.
