hello everyone!
I need a pure, roundy sine wave sound and I tried to generate one in MT
but it doesn't sound like a proper sine wave sound .. it's more like a "light" chiptune sound
so it's not soft round .. the way it usually sounds like
tried both with the amiga and linear frequencies but still doesn't sound like that
have any ideas on how to replicate that sound?

The frequency table used shouldn't matter but the interpolation method does, increasingly so the lower quality your samples are. But that can't be saved into the module so you only have control over it if you're playing the module yourself. So, I think what you might want to do is to try to make your sine wave high quality:
- Open the sample editor.
- Switch the sample to 16-bit to get the vertical resolution.
- Create a sample of a decent 2^n size, say 256 or even 512. (Higher quality means lower pitch, so you might need to correct that in the instrument editor by adjusting the relative note up a couple of octaves.)
- Generate 1 period of sine at 100% volume.
- Forward loop the whole sample.
Are we getting there?

we got it!
thank you Rai ;D
