Title: windows 8.1?

Having trouble getting the program to run in windows 8.1 (shifted over from osx). No sound. Won't load ASIO. It isn't listed as a supported OS. Have people managed to get it running?

The current "official" release will indeed not work with ASIO, but that's true for all Windows versions. Try another sound driver or the version I compiled (http://sagagames.de/stuff/mt.7z) a while ago.

Hi, I run into the same problem - no ASIO support with latest build under x64.
Is it still possible to get x64 build of 0.90.86 anywhere? (The link in Saga's post no longer exist.)

Also I think it would be great idea if it was added to download section on milkytracker.org  :)

I've re-uploaded the file. I haven't recompiled Milky since last August so the latest changes are not in there (but there are not many anyway).
Deltafire intended to release the new version as soon as some bugs were fixed, but that was also half a year ago. ;(
BTW, this is not a 64-bit issue, just a matter of using the "wrong" compiler. I'm not even sure if MilkyTracker can be built as a 64-bit application at the moment. And even if there was, MilkyTracker cannot take a lot of advantage from 64-bit builds, apart from a very slight increase in speed.

Is a shame, hopefully new version will be released eventually. I would rather use old version with ASIO then new version without it of course, thank you Saga :)
