Title: PLEASE HELP I'M SO CONFUSED.

A bit of backstory: I'm new to milkytracker, and have switched to it from logic pro because I wanted to be able to make my own oscilator waves.

but I have a problem.

I created an instrument, and added a note to my song, But now how do I make the note use the instrument I created, or change the note pitch without having to delete it and try again? None of the tutorials I read online have said anything about this, and it's quite literally driving me crazy!

Sounds like you might have selected a sample slot other than 0 on the right. All instruments have their default key/sample mapping set to all 0. If you use other sample slots, you have to edit the mappings in the instrument editor to be able to use them.
