Title: Doubles uploaded
Post by: ASIKWUSpulse on July 29, 2018, 10:17:01
I uploaded a new version of one of my pending modules: PastDataGone.mptm

I would be grateful if someone of the operators could reject the old module (the one without "updated" in it's name. Btw if it's also possible to rename the new module to just the above written name, it would also be amazing)

Thanks in forehand,
ASIKWUSpulse

Hi, I didn't screen the module myself so I'm not sure if the right version got renamed and approved. Can you double-check? If the wrong version is now in the archive, you can still upload the correct version and I will merge them.

I screened it, the old one was rejected for being the wrong upload, and the new one was renamed and added to the archive. :)

I listened to the downloaded file, and it was the right file. Great! thanks! :)

I'm glad everything worked out as intended then. ;)

Talking of repetition ... Is it common to upload and then finding small details to fix in the module? because once again I fixed some things in a module, and reuploaded a new version :).
It's the one with doubled artist name which is supposed to be uploaded, I think?
The changes are some panning presets to the drum sounds

It is not uncommon but I wish people would take a bit more time to work on their tunes and not upload them to the internet the second they think they are done. Let it rest for a day or two, then listen again and check for mistakes or possible improvements.
That said, I'm taking care of the dupe.

I thought of the excact same thing when I felt the frustration :D.
I've noticed that modules I think became well composed, is the ones I'm most eager to upload. I will from now on start to upload a module when I think that enough changes and polishes are made :)
