I am resigning from my spotlight.
Giving me a spotlight is the equivalent of printing a certificate in order to have it flying away in the wind. It's a waste of time. You might as well give a spotlight to Yohann Martin Novarro, if anything.

That's a really sad point of view. It's not possible to "un-spotlight" someone, but there haven't been many updates to the spotlight list recently, so I have now updated it with a few more artists. Your spotlight is gone from the front page.

Thanks.

I agree that Yomaru should get a spotlight. He is one of the most active contributors to the site and if Nikku can get a spotlight, Yomaru can't stay behind right?

That's a really sad point of view.
It is sad, but it is the sad truth. Part of life is looking back on all of our pointless endeavours, our cretinous choices, our dumb decisions. It is that which leads me to cease future composing of music.
I was never proud of my own works. I never had any true love for any of my creations.
I was never really someone who was creative. I was never really someone who was expressive.

The Aymes tortoise picture brings back dem memories.
Hi.

Talk about being ungrateful that someone else saw potential enough to spotlight you in the first place ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ that was me btw. Oh well, yes more new spotlights are needed. Aymes indeed.

I think there's a lot of users who deserve a spotlight. I don't really understand the criterium for spotlighting users, but for me, activity should play a big part in it. The current spotlit users aren't bad, but half of them haven't even checked TMA in over a year. There's a lot of people who are currently really active who i think should deserve a (new) spotlight for contributing modules in both high quality and quantity.
How about:
- Micro_Nat
- ASIKWUSpulse
- mado
- Beyond
- Galgox
- Psirius
- Myself (haha, just kidding)

There are several factors that play into nomination, including recent activity and of course quality of contributions, but also just "forgotten" artists that have never (or not in a long time) been spotlit. I try to balance these factors out, but of course it's not always perfect.
On the other hand, I try to not spotlight artists that have already been nominated in the past few years, which for example means that some of the artists on your list would also not apply. In general, new suggestions for the spotlight are always welcome, so I will add a few of your list to the current spotlight.

I agree with those choices, Beyond (was that Ekorren?), really like his mods, (edit. already added i see).
Psirius also. Some fabulous tunes recently and he has many more under his JPM moniker too.
Bass System too. He has so many aliases it's hard to sometimes keep up with what he's releasing. Perhaps he could add all his aliases to his profile! ;D

Thanks for the spotlight.
I agree deeply with spotlighting Psirius. He knows how to catch emotions in music :)
