Title: Mod4Win demo tracks
Post by: alexiusIII on July 05, 2020, 18:41:30
Help!

When I was young I came across the demo of Mod4Win. Quite the program and I loved the music that came bundled with it. The demo I had had 4 tracks included, the first was More Than Meets the Mind (which I've downloaded and reminisced over!), I think the second was called Leviathian or something like that. The track I am really after was the 4th in the demo playlist. I cannot remember its name, I can only remember the description saying it was either an award winning entry or a finalist for a competition in either 1993 or 1994.

Not much to go on I know but hopefully someone remembers it.

Maybe you can find it one of the many different Mod4Win version floating around?

You will probably need to run the installer to be able to extract the files, in which case I would recommand to set up a 32-bit Windows virtual machine - I wouldn't recommend running it on a real 32-bit system even if you have one, since it will set up file associations without asking.
Alternatively, you can maybe guess the original filename and see if it's on ModArchive (e.g. "CRYS-KLF.S3_" in the zip package would be "CRYS-KLF.S3M (https://modarchive.org/module.php?39953)" after installation)
