I've started a tune that I'm probably going to enter. It's not what you're going to expect from this sample pack, I can tell you that, hehe. I'll have my entry for you in oh, I don't know, a day or two perhaps... unless it has to be due sooner. When's the deadline for this thing? <-- EDIT: Okay, never mind, I just looked up the deadline. I can definitely have something before December 31st. :)

Yes, I downloaded a bunch of entries yesterday upon returning home but forgot to send confirmation mails. 14 tracks so far :o

At first I was convinced you had cheated until I checked the samples and had to face the truth... ;) And do I hear a bit of Xerxes influence, possibly? At least, that's the first thing that came to mind.

Also, rather shocking revelation as well, Mach Five tying for #2? Rather surprising for such a hack... either way, a pretty fun compo for no general reason. Perhaps I should stay tuned for more participation attempts... ;)

Compos for no general reason are the best - people do them for the fun, not for the prize.
Which reminded me, I haven't got my I <3 HORSES pencil yet.

edit: also, yes, Xaser, I do track. Mostly only metal though so I am more or less half-assed in my delivery.
