Title: im going to upload my first tracker song but im confused

i made my first tracker song with public domain samples, does that still count as something i would upload and get the artist role or not? im just making sure.

In a single word: Yes.
But here's a recommendation: ModArchive uploads are permanent. If this is your first composition, it would make more sense to first upload it to the forums (the "Look what I made!" section) and get some feedback on it. Most first compositions have quality issues and are likely to be rejected for that reason. On the forums, you can get some actual feedback what you can improve.
