Do you celebrate Christmas, or at least the Christmas holiday season?

Yule is what we celebrate in our house (midwinter solstice).
Pressies 4 days early  ;D

then Xmas may also be celebrated with family.

most importantly, it is a week off of work...

don't celebrate Xmas as any form of Xtian holiday, if that is what you mean?

I put up a Christmas tree and exchange presents, but as for religion? I prefer to keep that out of mind. As for me, Christmas is about getting together with family(s) (I'm married).

yes i celebrate it with my family but deep inside i don't like it so much... i know it's the time everyone tries to be nice to each other but i think we should act like that everytime, not only at christmas...

i like giving and receiving presents anyway =)

@Deviant: are you a follower of Asatru?

in the Netherlands most people do not celebrate Christmas with a santa claus or presents (although it is gaining terrain), but in the Christian way, often with decorations and a christmas tree. So most people do celebrate it, but not very extravagantly.
Santa Claus is derived from our Sinterklaas (St. Nicholas). We celebrate Sinterklaas on the 5th of December, with gifts, sweets and the lot. So the kids believe in Sinterklaas rather than Santa Claus.
