Sampling / Trouble making samples
« on: August 31, 2021, 01:49:32 »
I'm relatively new to tracking in general, and I'm trying to make some samples in Milkytracker. I'm trying to create a sample with the following steps:
* Create a new sample of size 16384
* Generate square waveform, volume 100, 256 periods
* Copy that
* Generate sawtooth waveform, volume 100, 0.5 periods
* DC offset that -50%
* Volume boost that 200%
* External paste phase modulate that
The result is in the zip archive.
It doesn't seem to come out correctly (the frequency changes towards the end, and it seems so sad...). Could anyone point me in the right direction?
Thanks!
(P.S. My attempt is in the "failure.xi" file, and what I want it to sound like is in the "slowphasesquare.xi" file)
