You can try to use the pocketpc configuration tool (it's an external application included in the package) to disable software landscape rotation and too enable your keyboard, but since milkytracker was designed to be used with a stylus input I'm not sure how the rest will work out.

Does it work now? I have no problem running milkytracker in fullscreen in 1280x800 on a macbook (lower resolutions work also)

@pailes: The configuration tool somehow does not work (nothing than white boxes is shown)

You're probably missing the right PocketPC replacement DLLs.

Is this the v0.90.60 release .exe file and if not, do you have permission to spread it?

It's all right.

I read this 'tutorial' and got MilkyTracker to work, but its flipped , so i cannot compose at all (Turned to left by 90°).

You need to launch the configuration tool and play with the orientation settings.

Not sure why but for some reason certain notes sound differently when played as a .xt file in winamp instead of in the tracker
Because winamp sucks for module replay ;)

Here are two things that came to my mind that you could program if you like to and if it's possible (since they may be quite resource-demanding):

  • "Coup de coeur": Members are able to mark modules they really like, this may be visible to others (like at pouet) or not (like at nectarine)
  • Inform about new modules by author x: People can "subscribe" to an author, like at youtube
Sounds good to me too :)

Nice to hear that MilkyTracker is your weapon of choice :)

Right click with the mouse in the sample editor brings up a context menu which contains a resampler option. Note that the resampler will adjust the finetune and the relative note of the sample accordingly. So all you need to do is, invoke the resampler dialog and enter 0 as relative note and 0 as finetune and it will automatically become a protracker compatible sample.
