You could also consider using a player or plugin that handles module files properly. No need to waste space on MP3s which are lossy anyway, that way. :)

I believe those are some of the ones guerrilladigital was referring to with this

Unfortunately, all of the youtube videos I've seen, do not have any sort of narration, so I'm not really getting what I need from them.

There's no assignment, any instrument can appear on any track.

NitroTracker Feature Requests / Parameter value ranges

To keep consistent with for example Fasttracker II and MilkyTracker, the panning center should be at 80, in the middle of 00-FF range.

MilkyTracker Community / Re: Looping
« on: August 31, 2008, 01:49:52 »
E6x only works inside one pattern (although utilizing a FT2 bug you can make the following pattern start somewhere else than row 00) and Dxx and Bxx are static. This means you can't create a loop that spans multiple patterns looping n times and then continuing on. You can either loop always or not loop at all. To produce the effect you want, you have to repeat the sequence in the POT like 1, 2, 3, 4, 1, 2, 3, 4, then 5. Sounds like wasting space but it actually isn't because the full POT array is saved always.

Through Exotica and Lemon Amiga I found the dangerousstreets-orientalsound.mod was composed by René Gazzoldi.

The names of the other files suggest those modules were also written for games (Dojo Dan @ MobyGames) and there might be copyright issues involved with all of them. :/

Searching for René though gives this MobyGames page: http://www.mobygames.com/developer/sheet/view/developerId,94614/ which doesn't have much info but it has a photo. Now, try matching that with this: http://www.facebook.com/people/Rene_Gazzoldi/642606179. It doesn't hurt to ask.. :)

Ripper / Plagiarism Reports / [unconfirmed] The X Factor
« on: August 29, 2008, 17:12:17 »
The X Factor (the_x_factor.s3m) by The X Factor ;) rips off
Beyond Music (beyond_music.mod) by captain.

I've held on to this file for years lest we forget. The X Factor is heavily plagiarised from captain for the most part. In the end there's another part which could be original or ripped from somewhere else.
