Just found out about this. If you Shazam my ones it still comes up with this imposter. I feel sick  >:( I know my tunes are over 20 years old and not very good but they're my tunes. How can people be so .... well, crap?

Blimey! Hello there, Novus, my mentor from years gone by. :) Yeah it has been a long time (and sorry for taking a month to spot your reply - I've only been dropping by every so often). Hope you are well!  ;D

Yup, burnt them as audio files, even went as far as putting some of them on mini disc (which I still use)!

I have to agree and say December. Well, December 1st is ok in my view.

They started doing the Christmas chocolate box set things in the supermarkets about 2 weeks ago, and that's far too early if you ask me. The sell by dates on some of them don't go beyond the end of November!

The Lobby / Introduce yourself - Alex Smith
« on: September 08, 2007, 16:28:36 »
I just realised I never properly introduced myself. My name is Alex Smith, and I used to track under the name "AlexS" - though I can't imagine how I came up with that name. Later, I just used my real name. I have lived in the UK all of my life (except for one day when I went to France, but people tell me that was just a day trip).

I'm 24 and I started tracking in 1997 using Scream Tracker, then started using Impulse Tracker about 6 months later. I did most of my decent tracks between 1998 - 2001 but I still dabble from time to time. I use Reason a lot these days but I do find it easier to compose in Impulse Tracker (when I can get it working).

I got my first ever death threat as a result of the first ever track of mine to be added to MA. It took just 7 minutes to make.

I'm from Essex.

Innit.

I'm sure I've got that somewhere.

Typically, my computer is dismantled at the moment, and my backups are boxed away neatly where I can't get to them. But when I'm back up and running on my own machine I'll be in touch, if you haven't found it by then.

About the same as I can in my right ...

Sorry.

How about:

"Describe the very first module you composed, how you felt about it at the time, and how you feel about it now?"

Or summat.
