That guy was a ripper, as far as I know he ripped just about every song he ever put his name to, so the song you're after is probably by a completely different artist I'm afraid.

I'd consider percussion and rhythm to be my strongest points.  Most of my tunes are quite sparse and minimal from a musical standpoint - but the percussive elements are often quite intricate.

If it's a remix that you haven't had permission to do, then it could easily be mistaken for, or considered a rip.  So while technically remixing and ripping are two completely different things, remixing could easily be misconstrued as ripping if the original artist isn't informed.
