Help me find that... / From around 2000...

Anybody know what this is?  I got it from a friend back around 2000.

The instrumentation sounds a lot like what is used here:

I'd really like to find the original so I can have a version that isn't normalized and made crappy by burning and ripping to CDs.  Plus it would be awesome to go back and listen to anything else the author made.
