No idea how this would work, but it's been used effectively in lots of step sequencers, and trackers aren't much different. Just a random idea (and a guy wanting to make use of his new launchpad )

MilkyTracker Feature Requests / Previewing samples

I feature I'd like to request is a way to preview samples. For example I'd like to be able to, while in the file selector window to import a sample, I'd like to be able to double-click a sample and have it play, so I can preview samples before I use them.
