Sample 19 is indeed the one I meant.

I could be from a sample CD, but it sounds way to clean to be sampled from a choir recording.

I'm trying to determine the source of a choir sample used in many, many tracked songs (including Second Reality, to give a reference point).

All I've got to go on is that it's frequently listed as "Gothic Choir" or "choir.raw".

It's definitely not the very distinctive Korg M1 choir, nor have I been able to find anything similar in the various Roland ROMplers of the era.

My best guess is that it's from one of the EMU ROMplers but was wondering if anyone here had any ideas.

There's a sample that combines piano and strings that's probably horribly overused in a lot of old mods that I've developed an odd fixation on. I was wondering if anybody knew the original source of it...
