MilkyTracker Support / I want to be a new beta-tester for the future version of MilkyTracker

Hello Pailes, MilkyTracker Team & Composers "oldschool",

   I am ViZiON, 30 years, French. I beta-tested a lot of Trackers on PC and I would like to begin a new beta-tester for the future version of MilkyTracker.
I composed many musics with ProTracker 2 (MOD) on ATARI ST and with FastTracker II (XM) on PC.

I find that MilkyTracker is a good nice tracker on PC which looks like FastTracker II :-) I am sure that you can improve the interface of MilkyTracker & win speed for composing .XM Modules. Furthermore, I think that MilkyTracker play correctly .XM format, so, congratulations !

If you can improve MilkyTracker keeping XM Format, I think that many composers "oldschool" will be back for making XM musics on your Tracker ;-)

I have got many ideas and I am ready to send its in the next weeks if you want...

Hi Jojo,

   Yes, Renoise can import .XM format but it doesn't play correctly this format because the effects FT2 aren't used in Renoise.

No, Modplug can't save .XM modules to .XRNS because ModPlug Tracker can't import/export .XRNS format.

Tracking / Xm To Xrns ?

Hi,

   I would like to know if a tool exists allowing to converting .XM format to .XRNS (Renoise 2). In fact, I wish using my old XM musics keeping effects XM and improving its on Renoise 2 :-)
Why ? Because I composed very good musics with FastTracker II but the sound quality isn't here. I know with Renoise 2, I can fix & improve sound quality !

If no one tool "XM to XNRS" exists today, is there a coder for making this converter tool please ?

   I would like to use different .XRNI files on Renoise v1.91. I am looking for the best .XRNI Renoise Instruments files on PC, any ideas ? Furthermore, I need "real" instruments: Piano, Synth, Orchestral, Ensemble, Voices, Orchit, Violin...

Today, I use Absynth v4 with Renoise and it works good :-) I compose musics :

1°) New Age, Orchestral, Medieval, Romantic, Movies...
2°) Techno, House, Acid, Trance, HardTrance, HardCore...

PC Players / Player MOD/XM/S3M/IT/MT2/XRNS ?

Hi,

   After using ModPlug Player for listening MOD/XM/S3M/IT format (oldschool) on my PC, I would like to know if one Player can play MOD/XM/S3M/IT/MT2/XRNS format because I love listening modules (oldschool) and recent musics...

The latest version of WinAMP works perfectly to support MT2 plugin. But it plays not correcty old modules (MOD, IT, XM...).

Today, I use the latest version of XMPlayer 3.4 :-) What do you think ? Anyone knows the best modules player on PC in 2008 ?

The Lobby / I want to listen your XM Musics !

Hi,

   Here is ViZiON, 30 years, I live in France. I was children when I listened MOD/XM/S3M/IT Format Musics on my first computers ;-)

Today, I must say that "Renoise" in 2007-2008 began FANTASTIC "in the World of Trackers". I would like to find any free time for continuing to composing XRNS Modules from my old XM...

So, please don't hesitating for contacting me about music on PC. Don't forgetting : I love listening ONLY XM Format (not MP3 please!).
