« on: July 30, 2020, 16:32:47 »
Thanks to the generosity of MilkyTracker's supporters, through donations we have now been able to renew milkytracker.org for 5 years!

As usual, please head over to the website for full details! :)

Woohoo!
Congrats on getting it released DF, I'm so glad people will now be able to enjoy our updated code :)

Apologies for being off the radar the last few months, been knee-deep in coursework and exams, but as always if I find a gap in my work I'll be back :)

MilkyTracker Bug Reports / Re: milkytracker.org is down

Well - I say 'fixed' - we actually moved to a new location because the .org domain is lost:

http://milkytracker.titandemo.org

MilkyTracker News / Website back up and running
« on: November 09, 2016, 20:17:41 »
Hello all - a quick update for the website, as it’s been a while and some things have changed!

MilkyTracker’s website has now been moved over to GitHub Pages alongside the source code, so that it’s easier to update and so that we don’t risk losing access to it any more. Unfortunately, our previous domain at http://milkytracker.org has been lost and the owner is unwilling to co-operate with us in having it point to the correct location.

Thankfully, our friends at TiTAN have given us a new subdomain, so please update your bookmarks to http://milkytracker.titandemo.org.

If, for whatever reason you are unable to reach us at the above address, http://milkytracker.github.io should always point you in the right direction.

Meanwhile, Deltafire and I have slowly been preparing a new release! If you can’t wait for the binaries, please feel free to check out our pending branch over at GitHub.

MilkyTracker Support / Re: Setting up Milkytracker with DAC
« on: October 27, 2015, 22:14:58 »
Actually, I added this feature back in December 2014 because I own a Mac and a DAC myself. :)

It will be in the next version of MilkyTracker, or if you can't wait, grab the latest sources from https://github.com/Deltafire/MilkyTracker and build it.

MilkyTracker Bug Reports / Re: Weird speed/pitch problem on OSX
« on: July 31, 2015, 23:54:19 »
Just noticed this. I fixed this one long ago:

https://github.com/Deltafire/MilkyTracker/commit/2d9e6ea7a522c9206e2764be37ec0e89c8c363d0

There have also been several more updates to the Core Audio driver since this patch.

One limitation is that if you forcibly switch frequencies outside of MilkyTracker while it already has the sound device open, you may get the mismatched speed again because MilkyTracker will not be aware you've changed the output frequency. But then you probably shouldn't be doing that anyway. :)

MilkyTracker Support / Re: Changing the color of the scrollbar?
« on: June 28, 2015, 02:55:39 »
Ahh, it's a shame I didn't see this earlier. Sorry! :(

I actually implemented the ability to change 5 new UI colours back in November 2014, including the scrollbar background, as can be found in this source code patch here:
https://github.com/dwhinham/MilkyTracker/commit/b314598630b6ed1e245790ac03291732e332e3b0

This will hopefully go into the next version - whenever we get around to it. :)
