Welcome to the forums Jyb! How far have you got with tracking since? You into composing some of your own stuff?

Well, i still have some difficulties with all the features, like the effects, but i am working and experimenting !

And i have started a composition, but it will not be full song, more like a sample for a ambient guitar/voice song with a 7/8 time signature (yes it will sound weird )

I used to run one for a few months, but i closed it 10 months ago. It was about my drawings painting etc.

I closed it because now i'm in art studies, so i can have all the opinions and advices about my work i was asking for with my blog.

The Lobby / Introduce yourself - Jyb

Hi, I'm Jyb, and I discovered tracking just yesterday, so, yeah, i'm a noob (so get prepared to answer a LOT of questions).

I don't want to create full chiptunes (for the moment), because actually i have a "rock" band, in wich i wanted to incorpore some 8bit melodies.

My influences are The Melvins, Thrones, Samus... and all those weirds rock bands.

But in the real life, i live north-west of france, and i'm studying art.
