I visited the main site today and was greeted with this:

It is with regret to announce that with immediate effect modarchive.com will no longer be available.

It has been 10 years and now we feel it's time to leave the scene gracefully.

To those that have contributed over the years we thank you all, it has been a fantastic 10 years and we hope you all enjoyed it.

Now, I was staring in such disbelief that it would just... go... like that, and after probably 30 seconds it redirected to the main site.   Then I remembered that in some timezones it's now April 1st.  Haha, very funny to scare us like that!  Nice try.

The Lobby / Introduce yourself - Mr Ksoft

Hello all, I'm Mr. Ksoft.  I'm addicted to mods and am trying to listen to all the mods in the archive.  I'm new with tracking, and I've only been able to finish one so far.  I have about 10 sitting around that I canned.

I'm also a starting programmer, and I'm making a game based on Sonic the Hedgehog.  People think I'm eccentric, but I don't hide it either.  I know I am, and I don't really care either.

I hope to start really getting into tracking and figuring out how to *not* abandon a song.  I really enjoy the sound of older mods, without all the crazy effects.  I'm ready to enjoy my time around the Mod Archive.
