MilkyTracker Support / Not necessary to specify volume (and instrument) of every single note??

Alright so, I assume most of you are familiar with the track "Unreal Super Hero 3" by Kenet and Rez (if not, well! Do I have a treat for you: https://youtu.be/9STiQ8cCIo0)
Anyhow, I decided to transcribe the song to MilkyTracker by hand by watching the YouTube video (above) and I stumbled upon something extremely curious (see attachment).
As you can see by the screenshot, both the instrument and volume are specified just once and —you will have realized by now if you listened to the song— both of these values are applied to subsequent notes.
Was this a feature from a previous version of MilkyTracker that got removed? If it hasn't been removed, how do I activate it? I hope you agree that not having to specify instrument and volume for every single note in your song would make things so much more... efficient.
