Oh. I didn't know that. Then how about a "Back to TMA" badge or something up there?

Look what I made! / [Aldrin track] Pelsi (work in progress)
« on: August 03, 2010, 23:05:42 »
As said in the title, it's a work in progress. Will most likely also do some little tweaks to sound quality and other details. But I'd like to hear your opinions on what I have so far.

Anyway. Bouncy stuff. Samples are from Saga Musix and Vipzone.

pelsi.ogg – Ogg Vorbis, 9.4 MB
pelsi.ccm – Aldrin module, 1.1 MB

Note that reverb and delay are from Aldrin's fork Neil, so it might not sound right if you haven't installed those.

PS. Pelsi is a fictional brand of orange juice.
PPS. Sounds even better when slowed down to 200 %.
PPPS. You should listen to it backwards too.

It seems as the Beukens like making 6581 versions of Nuclear Fadeout.

Tracking / Re: What's your tracker / format of choice? And why?
« on: November 28, 2009, 21:35:08 »
I started tracking in 1998 with Modplug Tracker. Then I stopped in 2001 because school etc.
When I got out of school in 2007 I started tracking again. I started small, with Fami Tracker. Then moved to LMMS and resolved to return to tracker mode (LMMS was a sequencer like FL Studio but freeware).
2009: madTracker but the Vst were too much for my PC and my musical skills, so I came back to the source.

Today I'm tracking with FT2 (Dosbox) and i now understand why many musicians stick to this wonderful app
I use LMMS too, but it's not actually freeware but free software. There's quite a difference.

LMMS seems to be more popular than I thought!

Can you upload it to Mediafire (or similar) and post the link?

The Lobby / Re: What sequencing (or DAW) software do you use?
« on: September 16, 2009, 17:15:16 »
I use both. Of trackers I use Schism, Milky and NitroTracker. A few days ago I got also LSDJ and fell in love with it. Sometimes I also use the MIDI tracker Tutka. As for sequencers, I use LMMS and Rosegarden.

MilkyTracker Tracks & Songs / Chiptune test
« on: May 05, 2009, 19:40:24 »
I've recently been trying to create some chiptune. On Youtube I saw some videos about MilkyTracker being a good software for that so I tried it out and created this. It's my first module made with it.

Please tell me how to improve etc.

I've started to use also MilkyTracker and NitroTracker nowadays.

MilkyTracker is pretty good for chiptunes.
