Hey guys.
I released this chiptune EP on bandcamp about a month ago, completely forgot to post about it here.
It's free to stream & download (with an option to donate or pay what you like if you feel like supporting me, (all of the revenue goes straight into my business account on paypal and will directly support platonist music, in case you wondered if I was just gonna buy booze for it muahahaha)!

It's a 6-track true to the term (less than 15 minute) chiptune EP that loops in on itself (hence the otherwise uninspired title?) made with Schism Tracker, CVS build from 2008 with HP Filter support (thanx protman)

more tunes coming soon, and thanks for listening
cheers,
Jonas

Hello dear modarchivers.
It's me again. This is more like an update on my work, rather than a music post. But I'll put my soundcloud link down below to keep it on-topic. (look what I did, ... music!)

Here's the deal. I got my music production degree last year, and I've been contemplating a lot about the future of my music. The site at platonistmusic.com doesn't contain more than a small list of personal links. And now, I'm starting to realize that it's time to end the previous era of stuff. Reunion is going to go through loads of changes soon, becoming more and more focused and less sporadic and random (as it has been, A LOT, over the past 6 years). Platonist Music is probably gonna end up as my "production business" name, including everything from recording, production, publishing and other such activities.
I now also play in 2 bands (guitar & bass guitar respectively). So I have less and less time to continue my strange IDM / Schism Tracker adventures. All of that has resulted in this:
https://soundcloud.com/platonist
My soundcloud is now filled with chiptunes! :o
After thinking about it for a while I decided to keep using schism for ONLY chiptunes (and the occasional vgm-remix).

Well that's the gist of it.
Hope you're all doing good.
cheers,
Jonas

Haven't been able to finish off many tracks this year, mostly thanks to composing courses at university, which have taken a lot of my present inspiration. BUT NOW WOOO FINALLY I have something completely new to show you guys. It's mp3 of course, since it's an official release.
The track is called "Same Olde Attitude" and it's based around a fun voice sample i created with TextAloudMp3 (weird and very basic voice-to-text generator).
Anyway. good luck have fun. here's a link to the track: (ok, m0d?, not spam, k? ^^)

Herro!
Plato here. I made this track in Schism/Impulse Tracker last year called "Beaten I Musiken" - and I released it through my own label Reuniverse and SGX was also cool enough to put it up at his.
It's imo one of my best to date so i made this Impulse Tracker video (because i can't share my its with anyone anymore ) :(
However, this video is the first in my YouTube series called "Behind The Scenes" where i let y'all look at the files anyway! The videoquality of this first one got messed up by the Tubes, - but don't worry, ima fix that sooner or later...
enough rambling, ok? here's the link to my channel:

enjoy and please subscribe

Someone must have it.
If you don't, check with people you know who might!  :P

Oi!  ;D
Since I'm using a special version of Schism Tracker, I won't be able to share my mods with you anymore, because no matter how hard you try, you won't be able to play em back.

So instead, Imma post about the mp3 release here.
It's my first time spamming like this in the MA forums, so no hate, OK?
