Feedback & Suggestions / Re: modarchive submission standards
« on: May 01, 2021, 15:06:18 »
I understand your rationale, and I think other archivists would agree about the whitewashing point

One thing I would suggest is that you put an official disclaimer on the entry yourselves to show that you don't condone this, but have decided to keep it as a historical item - or whatever your reason is, etc. I think this is important, otherwise the only discussion (as you have seen) has been a commenter saying they also "hate ni**ers". Not exactly what modarchive.org needs to be facilitating. Otherwise, it can appear (as it did to me) that you support and enjoy this kind of "music" as much as any other 🤮

I hope the forum submission standards* will apply to MOD uploads and comment/reviews also.

With that in mind, I'd invite whoever is in charge to take a look at this and consider whether this is what you want on your website: https://modarchive.org/index.php?request=view_by_moduleid&query=100026

Feedback & Suggestions / Provide wget friendly links?
« on: November 03, 2015, 12:53:50 »
I've been trying to download some mod files on my Amiga 1200 and all I get are php files regardless of which of the links I try for a given track. Any chance of making these accessible from the machines that spawned them? :)
