Odd that no one offered anything yet.

Well, I have this song here if you want it for the game. It can be used in parts if you want it, or altered (faster or slower). An XM version is possible but it would take a day or so to downsample and convert it:

A beta would be nice, just to see what kind of sounds would suit the atmosphere of the game. Assuming, of course, no one else offers you anything better suited for your project.

Cheers,

Change of plans...

You can download the level music from the following link.

It's set to consistently loop. Let me know if it needs anything else.

Sure thing.

I played your game and realized that it did require a faster beat. So I sped the level music up quite a bit and added a few extra sounds for space ambiance, etc.

I'll e-mail you the XM later today.

You can also drop me an e-mail at: cyguration@vgcore.com

Sorry about the first song not working. Here's the ogg format:

Hey Asmodeus...

I have a few songs that might fit within the context of a space shooter. It all depends on what you're looking for.

Here's one that seems otherwordly...and I can convert it to XM for your game (it was originally in Mt2 format).

A Coldplay meets outer space song (this can also be converted to XM):

Here's another one that is more of a game suite (beginning, middle, end, cinematics, etc.) in case you need parts of the song or want elements to repeat. This can also be converted to XM.

You can credit it to: " Cyguration" William D. Usher or just William D. Usher

I can make up some more songs within that theme for your game...just let me know exactly how many songs and within what time frame (viz., it'll take a little while if you want them with the same kind of quality and thematic diversity).

As for conversions...it'll take me about a day to fully convert the song over from MT2 to XM. Mainly it's with the effects and timing. But it's no problem converting the song for you. As soon as it's done I'll upload it.

I recently finished a song that's definitely suitable for an intro theme...however it's not yet in MOD or XM; as I would have to convert it (it's a remix of the theme song for the trailer of EA's Mirror's Edge).

Still, if you want to listen to it and see if it fits with your neo-Pac-Man game, the link for the OGG version is below. You can e-mail me if you want something on that line for the game.
