Help me find that... / [found] Where the heck is nice_butch?
« on: November 08, 2008, 03:59:26 »
Hi all. hope I am posting right place for this. I am looking for a past composer named nice butch..or simply butch. He is from ru (russia), and I have sent email to him, but no response. Some of his music is here at ModArchive such as b_winter, etc  :)

Yes door number one aka trax. I guess a lot of composers trustingly uploaded their only copy there. Of course since those days, we have learned our lesson :)

Thanks again to all of you for the welcomes. I think one of my main reasons being here is trying to track down some of the past composers whom seem to have disappeared.  Mostly out of respect to possibly use their music in 3D animated videos. Perhaps some went on to better things. I hope they did, and not just quit the program.

I did find one artist sometime back named caeser. He gave me permission to use his work and now one of his compositions is the flagship to a rather large medieval project I am working on. Maybe it was a trade off for me still having his original tracker version that another "music" site sort of disappeared in the middle of the night taking along a lot of composer's music. I think we all remember them.  :)

Hi everyone. New to this site here. Not really new to modding as I have followed this form of creative music (tracking) since the MSDOS days :)

I dabble with it using mostly ModEdit, and have sure seen it evolve since the old chip tune days. I am far far from some of the great work many do these days.  I have tried other trackers (not lately though), but for some reason I just end up back with ModEdit. Guess I am old school.  Peace.
