Help me find that... / Re: 16-bit version of "303s-8bit.xm"

as a compensation, maybe you dont have listened to this song here:
http://eha-music.de/eha-808.xm
I made this song nearly at the same time and can't remember that i ever released it.
/eha/

Must have been as I have a slightly different version from the one above and date-stamped on the day it was released (05/07/98).  Mine has 6 less samples, seems to play identically and still has the text format for samples used from Maz sample CD's.  I don't have the 16bit version of the 303.xm unfortunately. :(

The Lobby / Latest Additions

I noticed that in the last New Additions (5th/11) there were some mods added by beek..

Anyone know if this is the original Beek (CJH) or is this some other new person calling themselves beek?

I'd be amazed of anyone could tell what their first module added would be.

I just checked a few random folders on mine and a few early modules are dated 1979, so 6 years before the Amiga was released and 8 years before Soundtracker was released (not sure if there was another form of tracker module prior to soundtracker?).

I had a few dated 00, so maybe 1900 and pre-millenium bug (remember that? /lol).
I've always tried to keep datestamps as original as possible.

First mod was probably by Karsten Obarski i suppose..

Doesn't say anything related to 2.15 but an interesting read all the same.

Mentions something about 2.15 here..

There was frankly one user that drifted Jeffrey to that boundary indeed. However, he did still created the IPX network driver for its registered users (2.15) so that collaboration across a LAN was possible (or running multiple PC’s so that you could cross the track boundary of 32).

IT had a 64 track limit on a single system. You didn’t need to do any weirdness with multiple computers. I used it up until I had to switch to Renoise because I couldn’t find good DOS hardware anymore. I still miss a lot of IT’s features. In fact, the NNA loop release feature is still something that I miss.

I cant open your provided archive. Is there possibly a file named looser.dmf in it?

Just delete the .zip extension and you'll be fine, it's just his play list..  Probably the looser.dmf is by Vivid if your looking for it..

As for the playlist, even I recognise some of those "ye olde" filenames, you shouldn't have much trouble finding them!  ;D

Alcorythm, Dr Awesome, Nightshade, Purple Motion, Skaven, Spacebrain, Sigge, Ganja, RBH, KillerKid, Anchor, just to name a few...
