wow I had no idea MPT made files incompatible, but then again I dont like xmplay so I don't notice the difference in playback in MPP. MPT was the easiest tracker to use when I started so I guess I'm stuck with it.

but this new format, what cool new features will it have? I look forward to it

edit: does modplug tracker make incompatibel xms?

The Lobby / Introduce yourself - Aquanaut (i7)

since I've started being more active in the forums and on the site I might as well introduce myself...

I found out about mods a little more than two years ago. I wanted to isolate the title music from One Must Fall 2097, so i googled .mod and eventually I ended up at TMA dowloading mpp. Aryx by k.koch and A Falling Star by DreaMSectioN were the first mods I listened to. After downloading a lot of music from the site I downloaded mpt and started looking at mods like byside.xm and other stuff by Reptile and Sky. After downloading from and later torrenting Waveworld, I started trying to track my own music and I eventually uploaded some to TMA so I could see how good it was. nowadays I am starting to comment on mods and I will start to review too.

btw I'm a dude, hockey fan from Calgary (Canada)

couldn't you just convert the mp3 into a wav and make a one sample, one note mod that lasts long enough, and put that file in the game

Look what I made! / Re: Anyone can review...

that was the link I was looking for I didn't see it linked from the review help page so i figured asking would turn it up. maybe you could add it so others can find it?
also, are reviews screened before being posted?
